Held in celebration of UOG’s 58th Charter Day under the theme “UOG Rising: A New Era of Growth, Service, and Impact” · March 5, 2026

Mangilao, Guam, March 5, 2026 — Under the banner of “UOG Rising: A New Era of Growth, Service, and Impact,” the University of Guam celebrated its 58th Charter Day with a showcase of island-wide student excellence. As part of the festivities, the UOG Chemistry Division hosted the 2026 Chemistry Titration Competition — and Okkodo High School answered the call, sweeping the top prizes in the Best Individual and Best Team categories while placing a finalist in Best Laboratory Skill.

Students from across Guam competed in rigorous titration challenges that tested precision, scientific knowledge, and laboratory technique. The competition drew participants from Okkodo High School, John F. Kennedy High School, Harvest Christian Academy, St. John’s School, and Guam High School.

“Today’s competition is a living reflection of that theme. By bringing together some of the brightest young scientific minds from across our island, we are not just testing knowledge—we are cultivating the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers who will carry UOG’s mission forward.”

Dr. Vuki · Interim Associate Dean, University of Guam

Dr. Vuki, UOG’s Interim Associate Dean, saluted the students for their participation and dedication, noting that the competition embodied the spirit of this year’s Charter Day theme — growth through service, and impact through the sciences
